Hi, I’m Johanna!
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who works with individuals (18+) and couples navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting struggles, relationship challenges, and postpartum issues. I’m also passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and creating a therapy space that is neurodiversity-affirming and rooted in social justice.
My path to becoming a therapist started with my own experience in therapy—it changed my life and inspired me to help others find the same sense of healing and self-understanding. I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to ask meaningful questions, offer new perspectives, and walk alongside you as you uncover clarity and compassion for yourself.
My approach is person-centered, warm, and down-to-earth. Clients often tell me that they feel comfortable being fully themselves in our sessions. I bring authenticity, humor, and unconditional positive regard to our work—there is no feeling too big or too uncomfortable for us to explore together. My goal is to help you not just cope, but grow, by creating a space where you feel supported, understood, and gently challenged in service of your goals.
Whether you're in the middle of a major life transition, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply looking for a place to sort things out, I’m here to help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Let’s begin
